Dr. Simmons graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1977.
He opened Sand Lake Animal Clinic in 1980 and, through his honesty, dedication to quality medicine and hard work, grew it into the five veterinarian animal hospital that it is today.
Dr. Simmons retired in 2011 but will occasionally fill in at the animal clinic when needed.
